The White Home confirmed Wednesday that it’s investigating a girl who allegedly claimed to be a Univision reporter at a press convention with Vice President Kamala Harris in Mexico.
Harris was taking questions from reporters when a moderator known as on “Maria Fernanda of Univision” to ask a query.
“I voted for you,” Fernanda stated, including that it was an honor to ask her the query. “My query is, what would you say to those ladies, these moms and likewise ladies of coloration on either side of the border, farmers, a lot of them who I see day-after-day as a message of hope but in addition as–what is going to you do for them within the subsequent coming years?”
In a later interview with Fox News, Fernanda—whose title is Maria Fernanda Reyes—stated she isn’t a reporter with Univision and stated she didn’t appropriate the moderator as a result of she was too excited.
Univision has since stated that the lady who requested the query doesn’t work for the community.

Daniel Coronell, the top of Univision Information, posted a video of the interplay on Twitter and stated that the lady doesn’t work for his community.
“In Mexico a person which has no affiliation with @Univision claimed to be a reporter for @UniNoticias to be able to ask the @VP a query and to go with @KamalaHarris. Let it’s clear to everybody that Ms. Maria Fernanda Reyes shouldn’t be a part of this media group,” he wrote.
White Home spokeswoman Symone Sanders responded to Coronell’s comment and stated the administration will examine.

Fernanda, a San Francisco Bay Space-based entrepreneur, advised Fox Information that she was in Mexico on Tuesday to assist Mayan farmers when she was requested to attend Harris’s occasion.
“I don’t care. I requested a query,” she stated, including: “If folks don’t prefer it, high quality.”
The trade between the fake Univision reporter and Harris was highlighted by critics of the Biden administration, who asserted that it’s extra proof the White Home has a comfortable relationship with the press.
